hundredsof后加单数还是复数

当hundred前面有一个具体的数词作定语修饰时,只有它后边的名词是复数.

例two hundred cows 两百头奶牛.

当hundred 与of连用时,它后边的名词和它本身都用复数.

例hundreds of cows几百头奶牛

Hundreds of people were turned away from the stadium.

体育场满座，数百人被拒之门外。

Despite applying for hundreds of jobs, he is still out of work.
