others后面的be动词是复数形式。
others 是复数代词，泛指其他的人或物；others 和some对比使用时，是“有些”的意思而不是做“其他”讲。
如Some cleaned the windows，others mopped the floor。有的擦窗户，有的擦地板。
others are... others were。 不能说others is....或others was....比如At the party， some are singing and others are dancing。
