是可数名词。
意为“方法”、“手段”、“收入”、“财富”。
需要注意的一点是means是单复同形词。有by all means（可以；当然行；没问题），by no means（绝不；一点也不）等用法。
eg:
-Do you mind if I have a look? -By all means.
-我看一眼行吗？-当然可以。
She is by no means an inexperienced teacher.
她绝不是个毫无经验的教师。
People should pay according to their means.
人们应该按照各自的负担能力来消费。
