reach的用法

reach可用作不及物动词，及物动词和双宾动词，有到达，抵达，增加到等含义；也可用作名词，有臂展，影响范围等含义。

reach的用法

一、用作动词(v.)

1、用作不及物动词

S+～(+A)

I can\'t reach so high.

我够不到这么高。

We can see nothing but houses as far as the eye can reach.

在目光所及范围内,我们除了房屋别的什么也看不见。

2、用作及物动词

S+～+n./pron.

When will we reach our destination?

我们何时到达目的地?

His influence hasn\'t reached the capital yet.

他的影响还没到达首都。

The news reached every part of the world.

消息传到世界各地。

3、用作双宾动词

S+～+pron./n.+n./pron.

Please reach me the coffeepot.

请把咖啡壶递给我。

She reached me a slice of bread.

她递给我一片面包。

Can you reach me that box?你能把那个盒子递给我吗?

S+～+n./pron.+forpron./n.

Can you reach that book for me?你能把那本书递给我吗?

二、用作名词(n.)

He made a reach for a rope.

他伸手去抓绳子。

She placed a wine cup on the table within his reach.
