half past和half to的区别

to 是“差”的意思,past是“过”的意思；例如

half past 1200 12点过半小时,即1230；

half to 1200 差半小时12点,即1130

The time is now half past ten.

现在是十点半。

现在两点半了。我想我们最好还是回家吧。
