anticipate和expect区别

两个意思差不多，anticipate 是预期、预料、预计；而 expect 除了前面的意思，还可理解为期待，要求；所以， expect 要比 anticipate 更有把握，更有信心。

We anticipate that sales will rise next year.

我们预料明年销售量将会增加。

We don\'t anticipate any major problems.

我们预料不会发生什么大问题。

I never know what to expect from one day to the next.

一天又一天我不知道该期待什么。

The party is expecting to gain control of the council in the next election.

该党期待着在下次选举中获得对地方议会的控制权。
