chairman和president的区别

chairman意思是“坐在椅子上主持会议的人”，即“主席”，也可指委员会的“委员长”，董事会的“董事长”。其复数形式为chairmen。

president基本意思是“总统，主席”，指共和政体的国家经选举产生的最高首脑。也可作“(大学)校长，会长，董事长，总经理”解。
