there was no和there was not的区别

there be not用法可以用于一般时态，还可用于完成时态和被动式，此时的be则变成了助动词。

there was no用法开头的感叹句加强语气时，谓语动词通常不用现在进行时态，而用一般现在时态，如果主语是名词或名词短语，句子须倒装， 若主语是人称代词，句子不可倒装。

两者都是“没有”的意思。

There be not so many girl student in your class as in ours.

你们班的女同学没有我们班多。

There was no point in staying any longer.

再留下来就没有意义了。

There was no one in sight.

一个人也看不见。

There was not the slightest hint of trouble.

当时看不出丝毫会出现麻烦的迹象。
