although的用法总结

although作连词，意思是虽然；尽管；即使；不过；然而。although引导的从句放在主句前后均可，有时还可放在句中。although引导的从句不能与but、however连用，但可与yet、still连用。

例句

Although he is not smart， he works harder than his classmates。

虽然他不聪明，但他比他的同学都要用功。

He can do most of the housework， although he is only five years old。
