how many后面加可数名词，how much后面修饰不可数名词。

一般如果你问一头牛多少斤，答案都是XX kilo。

这里的kilo是可数名词，kilogram的缩写。

一、how many 与 how much 的区别

1、所修饰词

how many用来修饰可数名词的复数，它的句式是How many+复数名词+ 一般疑问句+

how much用来修饰不可数名词，表示数量，也可单独使用。

2、用法不同

How many 表示多少，用来问数量。例如How many apples do you have? 翻译你有多少苹果？

How much 表示多少钱，用来问价格。例如 How much is this dress?翻译 这个连衣裙多少钱？

二、how many的用法

对there be句型中主语的`数量如some, five, only one等提问时,如果主语是可数名词,不管主语是单数还是复数一般都用复数形式提问。
