spent和spend的区别

①spent 英 [spent] 美 [spɛnt] 

 adj. 用过的;不再有用的;已废的;失效的

 v. 花费;用钱，花钱( spend的过去式和过去分词 );消耗;花

如: Four things come not back: the spoken word, the spent arrow, the past, the neglected opportunity. 有四件东西是不可回收的:脱口的话, 离弦之矢,自身的过去及错失的良机 

因此, the spent arrow, 跟the spent money 中的spent 是一样的,是用来形容arrow的状态,指已花费或经已使用

②spend vt. 度过，消磨（时光）；花费；浪费；用尽vi. 花钱；用尽，耗尽

n. 预算[ 过去式spent 过去分词spent 现在分词spending ] vt.花 (钱)；花费:

例：By the end of the vacation I had spent all my money.到那个假期结束时我已经花光了我所有的钱。

The typhoon had spent its fury.台风的势头已经减弱了。

vi. 花钱；花时间；耗费精力：No need to spend too much.不必要花太多的钱。
