regret用法

①regret＋that从句“后悔，遗憾...”

②regret to do sth.“遗憾要做某事”，通常只对要做的事表示遗憾、后悔。(未做)

如: I regret to have to tell you that news.我很抱歉必须告诉你这个消息。

I regret to have to do this, but I have no choice.我很遗憾必须这样去做，我实在没有办法。

③regret doing sth.“后悔做了某事”，通常指对做过的事表示遗憾、后悔。 (已做)

如:I regret disturbing you so long.我很抱歉打扰了你这么久。

I don\'t regret telling her what I thought. 我不为告诉她我的想法而后悔。

所以regret doing sth 和 regret having done sth 是可以同用的。

1、regret作动词 表示歉意，bai懊悔

2、regret作名词 表痛惜，懊悔，遗憾，失望

She expressed her regret at / over the decision.

她对这个决定表示失望。
